Game Play: Choose a basketball and read the word. Listen carefully to the ending sound and decide if you hear the “t” “d” or “id” sound at the end. Place your basketball in the correct hoop.
Game Assembly: Mount basketball hoops to the file folder. Cut out basketballs for playing pieces. Mount title page to outside folder for storage pocket.
Expansion Ideas: Encourage children to come up with their own word for each ending “ed” sound.
