Game Play: These Hippos are Hungry! Choose two Number Cards and feed the hippos with the largest number you have. If they are equal numbers poor Hippo won’t get to eat!
Game Assembly: This is a printable board game center that can be played with our without a file folder. I personally like the file folders because it’s easy to store the game pieces. Print up a Hugry Hippo board for each child. Cut out the numbers and the hippo inequality symbols for playing pieces.
Expansion Ideas: The numbers in this can can easily be replaced by counters. This is a great way to encourage children to explore counting, adding and subtraction directly on their boards.
