Place Value Game

PlaceValueGameDownload Game

Game Play: Choose two number tiles and build your biggest number on your board. Choose two number tiles and build your smallest number on your board.

Game Assembly:  This game can be mounted inside a file folder or laminated and played tableside.  Cut out the number tiles for playing pieces. (Note these game boards are the same size as plastic number tiles) Children have a BIG board and a SMALL board with the goal being to build the biggest and smallest numbers possible for each board.

Expansion Ideas: This game works on place value to the tens, however there is room at the bottom of the boards for children to build numbers to the hundreds.  Children who are ready can try forming larger numbers on the table. Additionally, you can expand their learning with a place value game that goes out to the thousands, and also one that goes out the millions.
