Game Play: Draw a card and determine if that item is a fruit or a vegetable and place it into the correct basket.
Game Assembly: This game requires a single file folder game. Glue the “Fruit” and “Vegetable” pockets to either side of the folder. Cut out the items for playing pieces. Glue title page to outside so that you form a pocket. Glue Tab Label to folder.
Expansion Ideas: If you have access to pretend fruit you could easily use this game as a foundation for your pretend play learning center. Alternatively, you could have children sort the items by what they like or dislike.
