Game Play: Choose a ticket master (4 different versions available). Turn tickets upside down in the center of the table. Take turns choosing a ticket. Read the ticket, use the word in a sentence then place the ticked in your ticket box. If you can’t read the word ask for help and replace the ticket back into the center. Game ends when tickets are all read.
Game Assembly: Cut out ticket master board and fold up the lower flap to create a pocket. This will be the ticket box for children to store their tickets. Laminate tickets and cut out for playing pieces. Glue Tab Label to folder. If you laminate your game you can cut slits across the top of the ticket boxes for children to insert the tickets
Expansion Ideas: If you have a roll of real tickets you can write in your own words for children. This would be a great way to expand the game by adding three letter words, sight words and word families. Aeditionally, you can provide children with a sheet of paper where they can write down each word they draw.
