Game Play: Look at the different shapes on your number card. Can you make the shapes with your blocks?
Game Assembly: Laminate and cut out your number cards. Each number card features four different shapes with that number of blocks. Provide children with square wooden blocks, legos, unifix cubes or whatever you have on hand. The simple square wooded blocks do work the best for most of the required shapes.
Expansion Ideas: Encourage children to use the blocks to make their own shapes and challenge a friend or a teacher to match it. Count how high you can build before the tower falls over. Try to make numbers or letter shapes with the squares.
